The soil containing the Moonstone crystals, hauled out of the mine shaft, is washed and cleaned using cane baskets to separate the Moonstone crystals.

Cutting and polishing is done using machinery. A high quality Moonstone will have a bluish tint.

ReplyDeleteLooking forward to be around.
Where can I find a good quality Moonstone? I love them. I would like to create a necklace with a beautiful moonstone like those, close to my heart. But I don't want to by a ready one with low quality stones and metals. I want to make it my self with love and only leather to touch it. What do you think?
