SRI LANKA - MAMMOTH TREES [ SORABORA ]

Sorabora tank was built 2114 years ago by King Dutugemunu to irrigate the surrounding low lands for the cultivation of paddy, these centuries old  mammoth trees can be seen on the tank bund.
